Carla Brook, FNP

  • Mold and Biotoxin Illness
  • Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS)
  • Family Medicine

Carla Brook graduated from the Frontier School of Nursing in 2007, with a Masters Degree in nursing, and is licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). After graduation, she worked clinically for over five years in Internal, Emergency, and Family medicine.

Working in a healthcare industry that controls and largely limits treatments options to drugs and surgery led to a growing dissatisfaction with the profession. In time, this dissatisfaction prompted Carla’s transition into integrative medicine. Integrative medicine expands treatment options and provides a vehicle to intelligently promote prevention, health, and healing treatment options.

After transitioning into integrative medicine, Carla completed her training in bio-identical (natural) hormone therapies, for men and women. In 2014 she completed her training with Richie Shoemaker, MD, in mold and Lyme “biotoxin illness” and a condition known as Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS). Dr. Shoemaker is the world’s top researcher in the causes, effects, diagnostics, and treatment of (relatively common) mold, Lyme, and sick-building caused illnesses.

Along with providing an important and unique branch of The Bridge Medical Center integrative healing tree, Carla works closely with Steven Gordon ND, Patricia Cole MD, and the other practitioners to help provide the best in health care and healing options.
